ASTM-A463 is an aluminum-coated steel sheet that is commonly used in applications requiring heat and corrosion resistance. It can be subjected to moderate forming and drawing applications and can maintain its strength at temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. RSS carries Aluminized Type 1, which uses an aluminum-silicon coating that is the most common for heat resistance.
