Hot Rolled
Reliance Sheet & Strip Company provides high-quality Hot Rolled steel sheets produced to ASTM-A1011 (Commercial Steel-Type B) standards. These low carbon steel sheets deliver the formability, strength, and weldability manufacturers and fabricators count on for a wide range of applications.
What Is Hot Rolled Steel?
Hot Rolled steel is formed at high temperatures, creating sheets with a mill oxide surface that are ideal for structural and industrial projects where surface finish requirements are not critical. The low carbon content allows this steel to be easily bent in either direction without risk of cracking on the outside of the bend. Hot Rolled products are known for their excellent weldability and versatility, making them the material of choice for everything from frames and supports to general fabrication needs.
