UPI.GALXC ® / G-30

UPI.GALXC® / G-30 was developed by USS/POSCO as a better alternative to Electro-Galvanized steel. It was developed with the input of computer company engineers so that it would meet the critical needs for computer and electronic chassis applications. As a result, the product satisfies the following five attributes to meet the stringent electronic industry applications: weldability, corrosion protection, formability, conductivity and paintability.

Our UPI.GALXC®/G-30 product is produced to ASTM-A-653 (Commercial/Forming Steel-Type A/B). The coating weight is designated as G-30 and the surface is a zero spangle and is processed as extra smooth. The product surface is dry but has a passivating chemical treatment which is ROHS compliant.
